1. What Yesterline is

Yesterline provides AI recreations of historical figures for education, entertainment, and personal reflection. Content is generated by models and is not advice from the actual historical people, nor professional medical, legal, financial, or investment advice. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, harass others, or attempt to jailbreak agents into harmful or unlawful content. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age required in your region) to use Yesterline.

3. Memberships, credits, and billing

Paid plans and credit top-ups are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel via the billing portal or account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the current paid period. Included or purchased AI credits are for use on the service, may expire when your subscription ends (as shown at checkout or in Account), and are not cash-redeemable.

Refunds. Except where required by law, subscription fees and credit top-ups are non-refundable once charged, including for unused time or unused credits. If a charge fails or is clearly duplicated in error, contact us and we will work with Stripe to correct it. Chargebacks for legitimate use of the service may result in account suspension.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Yesterline to generate illegal content, spam, malware, or to impersonate living people. Do not reverse-engineer rate limits to exhaust system resources. Public posts and comments may be moderated or removed. We may limit AI generation when credit balances are low or abuse is detected.

5. Intellectual property

Yesterline branding, software, and UI are owned by us or our licensors. Historical figures’ names and likenesses may be public-domain or otherwise restricted depending on jurisdiction — our AI portrayals are for commentary and education. You retain rights in your original user content, and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it as needed to operate and improve the service.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yesterline and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes lies in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or prevent unauthorized use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel any paid plan.
